It's been a long time since I've had this sweet girl in front of my camera and I'm so excited to say that this time... it's with a ring on her finger! Happier than ever, Shannon has grown into a strong woman and her heart has finally found its missing piece, her fiancé John!
Surrounded by nothing but nature, these two chose to have their engagement photos on John’s family’s private property near the border of Tennessee mountains and the Virginia mountains! We started by walking barefoot in the creek, avoided cow pies and laughing through the stories of their first date. Before we knew it, we were racing the sunset and chasing the moon. Dancing in front of those gorgeous Appalachian Mountains and taking a moment to talk about her unique engagement ring, I quickly saw how their relationship fell right into place.
It's hard not to smile when going through their engagement photos because all I hear in the back of my head is "home is where the heart is" and this my friends, is exactly where their home is... with each other. Their fall wedding is right around the corner and I cannot wait to see what's in store!
Her engagement ring had this Tennessee photographer’s heart soaring! As you probably guessed, it is a family heirloom and with Shannon’s love of flowers, John made some changes to make sure this family heirloom matched Shannon’s style! Ladies and gents, this ring is stunning in person and stands pretty tall on her finger. Let’s just say, you cannot miss it!
