Joe & Erika: A Woodland Wedding at Sorella Farms | Lynchburg Wedding
Barn Wedding | Woodland Ceremony | Sorella Farms
She's a smiler, not a "smizer"...
Having met and starting to attend church together during the pandemic, it felt like this sweet couple had been together since high school or longer! While planning their Lynchburg wedding, she dreamed of something whimsical and he longed for something down to Earth. Being a natural loving couple, it’s hard not to see that both of their visions came to life!
On Saturday, August 21st Erika & Joe said I do during their woodland ceremony at the prettiest Virginia wedding venue I’ve seen in a long time… Sorella Farms. Having not been there before, I was like a kid in a candy shop. Constantly finding new locations and views to capture this sweet couple in, finding the right light and loving every single unique aspect it had to offer. While we didn’t catch the sunset everyone dreams about, we circled back to their private, woodland ceremony spot for a couple more images at the end of the night and WOOF.
Lit with bistro lights and serenaded by the cicadas, these two made the best of their very hot wedding day. If you can't tell, we had an absolute blast and these two were all smiles. They normally call the bride blushing but Erika's simple dress spoke volumes and I do believe it's safe to say Joe was the one blushing all day. Their day had plenty of unexpected turns but one thing is for sure (it was SUPER FREAKING HOT), but they are officially husband and wife and it couldn't have been more perfect! I think their officiant said it best, they both will be a “pain” some days but today and always, they are now Mr. & Mrs. Payne!
