Sunflower Field in Virginia | Virginia Wedding Photographer | Beaver Dam Farms

Megan & Cody's engagement session at Beaver Dam Farms sunflower field in Virginia had us chasing the sunset and snuggling through sweat but if you can't tell, it was SOOOO worth it! The chemistry between these two beautiful souls was evident amongst other things and I felt super lucky being their third wheel.

Megan showed up in this slimming white dress that had Cody complimenting her all night long and me losing track of time to squeeze in more photos. If you can believe it, I grew up 5 minutes from Beaver Dam Farms but having never photographed in the sunflowers before, I don't know how I’ll be able to beat this experience. I was a kid in a candy store in these fields and these two curbed my sweet tooth! Each flower had a different personality and the way the colors popped perfectly in front of those rolling mountains, you can’t help but let your eyes bounce from one thing to another. When they say Virginia is for lovers, I think this is what they mean!

For those who are wondering, these gorgeous fields are privately owned and operated. We paid a fee to take pictures here but its well worth it!
