Zak & Kaitlin: A Mountain Engagement | Explore Park | Roanoke Virginia Engagement Photographer

I cannot express how happy I am that Kaitlin & Zak trusted me to be their engagement photographer. So much that we fit their entire shoot within 45 minutes. Yes, you heard me correctly, FORTY-FIVE MINUTES!

Their delicious golden hour session was absolutely exquisite. The scenery, the sun, their patience & their pup. I have honestly never seen the sun set so well (while complimenting their outfits) during a session and I've never seen a ring as big as Kaitlin's! I seriously felt the Earth shake when she placed her hand on Zak's shoulder....just absolutely breathtaking! And if anyone is wondering, Zak had one request, pictures with is car. WHOA. As the young people say nowadays,
"I can't even".

Kaitlin & I met through work at Carilion and after several months, I finally met Zak. What a pair these two are. At their session, I got to meet the final puzzle piece of their family, their sweet pup Piper. I have to give a shoutout to her, as she was so calm and collected, even though it was 40 some degrees and a child was blasting off science class rockets in the field behind us. And as if I couldn't rave about their session enough, I want to say it was probably one of my best sessions yet. Congratulations again on your engagement Zak & Kaitlin.
