Nolan & Megan: A Summer Engagement at Springton Manor Farm | Pennsylvania Wedding Venue
Springton Manor Farm | Summer Engagement Photos | Pennsylvania Wedding Venue
As most of you know from social media, I traveled up the northeast coast to Cape Cod and back for a wedding. On the way home, I stopped in Connecticut for an engagement session and in Pennsylvania for an engagement session before making the trek home. It was an absolutely amazing trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end it than with Nolan & Megan’s summer engagement photos at Springton Manor Farm!
While each and every couple I photographed on this trip incorporated something to tell their story, it couldn't have been better for these two! As you can tell, a nasty thunderstorm was rolling up on us during their engagement session but these two stuck it out! Yea yea yea, so what's the point other than pretty pictures? Well, Megan just so happens to be a forensic meteorologist! Yep... so while we could have had the most perfect sunset, I honestly couldn't imagine anything other than this weather for their session because it speaks to their relationship, not just ironically! Peep the pictures of things FLYING in the air and actually hitting Megan in the eye at one point! We were definitely cautious but I think I can say that we do not regret stretching our session out a little longer to capture the storm and the memories it brought!
They chose to take pictures at this absolutely gorgeous Pennsylvania wedding venue and I can tell why! Full of fresh flowers around every corner, a butterfly garden, flowing fields and a treelined driveway you see in most epic films, Springton Manor Farm had it all! Not to mention, their outfits were the cutest ever and blended in perfectly with all the pops of color and florals!
After being together for 10 years, these two truly have weathered through life together. Yes I know it's cheesy but it's the truth! High school, college, careers and life in general... these two have been there for each other through it all. I first met Megan last year at her friend's wedding and after getting to know her, I finally got to meet Nolan and I can truly say, it's like I've known them my whole life. The first thing they said when arriving was "here, we have water for you" after knowing I had been on the road for hours on end. The level of care, understanding and content they share for others and to each other is inspiring. And did I mention it was Nolan's birthday the day we had their shoot?! This man did engagement pictures on his birthday before celebrating with his family... like, I couldn't have asked for better people to share their journey with!
They plan to get married in October 2022 at another Pennsylvania wedding venue (stay tuned) and while there summer engagement photos had pops of green and blues, you best believe we are going to see the opposite for their special day! Congratulations you two, I can’t wait to see what you think of your blog!
