Can we please take a moment to discuss Michael & Jordan Nallen.
Having known Jordan from college years at Ferrum College (hashtag alumni status) to meeting her & Michael after their recent engagement, you could tell they were soulmates. The way Michael referenced Jordan's perfections & the way Jordan's happiness synced with Michael's was evident. It was illuminating how in love they were when we met. Flash forward to their engagement session when I literally couldn't keep them off of each other. It was like they knew what they were doing. They knew how to hold each other in-front of the camera. They knew how to talk to each other without making it feel awkward. They knew, they trusted me to capture their love.
Now, on their wedding day, it was time to bring two together as one. From the details of DIY calligraphy on almost everything (Jordan - you rock & have such an amazing talent), the naturalistic vibe this couple chose for their venue and having known them before this moment, I knew their day was going to be easily photographable.
Their wedding day was classic vintage and fairytale to say the least. With the guys & ladies in earth tones, Jordan wore a vintage lace gown from Anthropologie that literally had EVERYONE'S heads turning. No other dress would have made Jordan stand out like she did for her husband to be and you can clearly see that in the images below. She was a vision and her husband was dodging left & right to see her walking towards him. Their venue at the Early Inn in Rocky Mount, Virginia was perfect for the fairytale party in the fall, their tented reception carried the night on and their ribbon exit was unique! It was such a treat getting to know their family & friends and I cannot wait to see where their journey takes them. I wish you all the best Jordan & Michael - truly!
